What are Easy Fanning Volume Lashes?
Easy fanning lashes are volume lashes that have been designed for lash artists in order to reduce the time it takes to create volume lash fans. What makes them different than other volume lash extensions is that they are made up of multiple layers of individual lashes attached by a tiny amount of adhesive at their base. Conventional volume lashes (mink lashes) are only made up of a single layer.
Here is a microscopic picture of the base of the Easy Fan Lashes. As you can see there are several tiny layers glued together.
In this picture you can see a side by side comparison of the Easy Fanning Lashes next to our Mink lashes. When a lash artist picks up the Easy Fanning Lashes and uses a shimmy motion with their tweezers, the Easy Fan Lashes spread out and create a perfect fan very quickly.
Easy Fanning lashes have a few different names. Some brands call them self fanning lashes, smart lashes, or flowering lashes.
Okay, now that we have explained what Easy Fanning Lashes are, lets talk about why a lash artist would want to use them instead of conventional volume lash extensions.
1. They Save Time
When it comes to doing eyelash extensions, time is money. Using conventional volume lashes and hand crafting each individual fan takes so much time. Another thing to consider is how much time it takes to truly master the volume technique. This can take months to years! Using Easy Fanning Lashes will save you from all of that trouble!
2. They Save Money
Learning an advanced method like the volume technique can be very expensive when you consider the cost of taking several classes. Courses that are online or in person can cost anywhere from $500- $2000. This can be really difficult to afford for a new lash tech who is just starting out. Using Easy Fanning Volume Lashes is a great alternative because you can create the look of volume lashes with only a few hours of practice.
Another way Easy Fanning Lashes can save money is that there are more lashes per tray than conventional volume lash trays. You can also create more fans using one tray than what comes on a tray of pre-made fans.
How to use Easy Fanning Volume Lashes:
We will be using three different guides to help you create the perfect volume fan using our Easy Fanning Lashes; guide a, b, and c as pictured below.
Step 1: Using guide B pick up a bundle of lashes
Step 2: Put the lash fan back on the strip aligning the bottom of the lashes with guide C, as pictured below.
Step 3: Gently press and wiggle on line B to create your fan.
Step 4: Pick up the fan using line A as your guide:
Now that we know how to use Easy Fanning Lashes, let's talk about the different kinds available.
Easy Fanning Feather:
Our easy fanning feather lashes come in two thicknesses .05 and .07. These lashes have 3 lengths in each strip, which adds texture to any lash set.
Easy Fanning Doll Like:
Our Easy Fanning Doll like lashes come in one thickness (.07mm) and they are different from the feather lashes because they contain a single length of lash that will create a bold, dark look to your lashes.
